About us

It is the aim of the The Bishop's Forum Activity Centres that participants of all ages, backgrounds and abilities will stretch, but not over-reach themselves. That they will feel challenged but not phased and will gain an enormous sense of achievement. Every effort is made to help develop the individual's self esteem and confidence.

Inspired by the former Bishop of Truro, the Right Rev Peter Mumford, The Bishop's Forum was set up as a charity for the young people of Cornwall. Since inception the Charity has expanded its scope to welcome local community use of our facilities.

Our mission is to Inspire, Challenge and Motivate people to develop their Life Skills to bring about positive change. An expert core team with support from our many skilled volunteers are also ready to provide thrilling activities for your family or "take the kids off your hands" in the holidays when you need a break.

The type of activity and the nature of the course is designed to suit the group or the individual´s abilities and interests and enhance social and thinking skills.
