Freestyle is an innovative Learning and Skills Council project co-financed through Objective One. It works with young people aged between 14 and 19 years who are classified as 'not in education, employment or training' (NEET) or are at risk of 'disengaging'.
This varied course gives young people the opportunity to make new friends while undertaking a first aid course and other forms of accreditation. On completion of the 12 week course it is anticipated the young people will have been inspired to return back into employment, training or education.
